Romana is committed to creating and enabling a thriving life for every child. She is trained in Presence-Oriented Psychotherapy and continues to practice with individuals and groups, especially those impacted by marginalisation. She has been a faculty member for the Comprehensive Sexuality Education certification in Mumbai, India, and a teaching assistant for the Presence-Oriented Psychotherapy Diploma in Pune, India. A Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow and an alumnus of Teach for India, before Kizazi, Romana was the Director of Training and Impact for Teach for India for 7 years and also worked as a consultant to TFIx, TFAll, and various other NGOs in rural and urban India.
Over the years, Romana has supported various programmes to develop a systemic approach to design and evaluation and values-based organisational development. Her focus has been on deepening the practice and experience of love and justice through a focus on personal transformation.
Romana lives in Mumbai, India. She loves tending to plants, practising yoga and meditation, and learning from various wisdom traditions around the world. She enjoys learning about cultures and the diversity of life experiences people have through reading, travelling, and being a part of communities.
