Folasade Adefisayo

Folasade Adefisayo, an influential figure in Nigeria’s educational sector with nearly 40 years of experience, has left a lasting impact through her roles and initiatives. As the former Commissioner for Education in Lagos State, she brought innovation, integrity, and an entrepreneurial spirit, significantly reforming education. Her career in education includes key roles in teacher training, leadership, school set-up, and transformation. She has garnered deep experience & strong leadership at the highest levels of governments in Africa, launching and scaling large-scale innovations in public education.

Her tenure as Executive Director and CEO of the Corona Schools Trust Council until 2010, followed by her role as Director of Corona Secondary School, Agbara, until 2014, highlights her dedication to educational excellence. She is currently the Principal Consultant and CEO of Leading Learning Ltd, an organization committed to enhancing educational practices and policies.

Folasade’s academic achievements are noteworthy. She is a University Scholar from the University of Ibadan and holds distinctions in both her diploma and master’s degrees from the University of Nottingham.
